Pacquiao – Rios Fight, Heats Up

Manny Pacquiao, who recently suffered a couple of losses from previous opponents, bound to take a comeback fight against American hard hitter Brandon Rios.

The non-title fight that is said to be the comeback fight of Manny Pacquiao will be held in The Venetian Macau Resort and Hotel in Macau, China. Pacquiao will try to bounce back from a split decision loss against Timothy Bradley and a 6th round Knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez while Rios will be heading to the fight right after a unanimous decision loss to Mike Alvarado.

Now, the two fighters are in a tour in several parts of the world to promote the fight and just recently, they faced each other in a press conference in New York. The two fighter are hoping to bounce back from different losses they suffered before coming to this fight.

Manny pacquiao with a record of 54 wins, 5 losses, and 2 draws will face a much younger rival with a young career as Brandon Rios will fight Manny with 31 wins, 1 loss, and 1 bout even at a showdown in Macau China.

Sports Analysts said that if Manny Pacquiao will be fighting like with an attitude and power he had few years ago, it is very unlikely for Rios to beat Pacquiao. In the other hand, Rios said in an interview that Pacquiao is a very good fighter, but the 8 division champion and former pound for pound king is now old to handle his attacks and has a very weak jaw, thus, Manny Pacquiao with his normal antics before the fight, he always want a good clean fight and want to excite the fans. Manny also added that he’s time is not yet end and he will come back to be a contender for pound for pound greatness as he expresses on wanting to fight again for the 5th time his Mexican long-time rival, Juan Manuel Marquez.

The Fight of Pacquiao and Rios will be on November 23, 2013 and this is the first time Manny will fight in Macau, and first for Pacquiao to fight outside Las Vegas Nevada and Arlington, Texas since his 3rd bout against Eric Morales.

As Boxing fans are still waiting for this next big fight, Pacquiao and Rios are still in tours to promote the fight. Another history will be experienced as a big fight as of like Manny vs. Rios will be held in China, we also have to expect that the winner of this showdown will bound to have a much better stand in the pound for pound rankings as the two both ranked as top 10  in the pound for pound list. Both came off from losses, Now it’s their chance to bounce back.
